A speeding luxury car rammed into several parked motorcycles before crashing into a roadside kebab centre near Bannerghatta on the outskirts of Bengaluru on October 28, leaving three people with severe burn injuries. The incident occurred in Hommadevanahalli and was captured on CCTV cameras. The footage, which shows the car crashing into the shop and scattering furniture and other items, has gone viral on social media. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, bearing registration number KA05-MR-3925, was reportedly being driven at high speed when the driver lost control. After hitting several two-wheelers parked along the roadside, the vehicle crashed into Halevooramma Kebab Centre. The impact caused hot oil used for frying kebabs to splash onto three people inside the shop. The injured, identified as Basavaraj, Munikrishna and Manjesh, suffered severe burn injuries and were shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. Bannerghatta police have taken the driver, Sajina Begum, and the vehicle into custody. A case has been registered, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
